APMIANS welcome school year 2009- 2010

APMIANs in all Arborvitae Plains Montessori, Inc. campuses excitedly opened school year 2009-2010 last Monday, June 8, 2009 with an assembly: flag ceremony and short program. Grade school pupils in Lagonoy, Baao, Libmanan, Naga- VGH, San Pascual, Masbate, Bacolod City and Business High School students in Naga Main, Pasacao, Goa and Ragay held simultaneous short programs to welcome new and transferee students.On a rainy Monday morning, APMI School Principal Mr. Ariel Azuelo, gave a brief talk about the need for APMIANs to stay healthy and clean in order to avoid catching as well as spreading the dreaded A(H1N1) virus. He also talked about its symptoms and urged students to keep themselves and their surroundings clean to prevent getting sick.

After the assembly, students were immediately sent to their classrooms wherein they met their class advisers who oriented them on school rules and regulations.

On Tuesday, June 9 regular schedule of classes started, the day when APMIANs eagerly met their different subject teachers for the first time.

However, Preschool pupils have to wait until Monday, June 15 to go to school for their first day of classes.
