Successful APMI Math and IT Week 2009

APMI students celebrated Math and IT Week from December 2-4, 2009. The theme for this years celebration was, Enhancing Mathematical Competencies and IT Skills in a Challenging World. At APMI Naga Main Campus, the week opened with the poster-making contest. An exhibit of students best work in Computer and Mathematics was on display at the ground floor of APMI Main campus which included the 100 Things Museum of preschool pupils. Quiz Bees in both Mathematics and Information Technology wherein preschool, elementary and high school students actively participated were conducted by Mathematics and Computer teachers headed by Mrs. Elena Bibe and Mrs. Rodilie Noora.
At APMI Libmanan Campus,their IT Week kicked off with a motorcade and parade of all students who were divided into groups representing different colors. Parents also actively participated in the motorcade along the main streets of Libmanan. After the motorcade, all groups competed in the Best Group Yell contest wherein the Violet team was declared the winners. The Battle of the Brains followed wherein the Violet team reigned supreme among Grade 1-3 pupils while the Light Blue team beat other Grade 4-6 pupils in the other category. Moreover,students, parents and guests witnessed the pageant of the Search for Ms. IT Week on Friday, December 4 which was the culmination of the week-long events.
